For Christmas 2016, my parents gifted us a trip to the beach! We knew Conrad would be coming our way in the spring, so a summer beach trip would be a relaxing way to spend a week together.
This was also Conrad’s first ROAD TRIP! We drove from Philadelphia to Outer Banks, NC, a seven-ish hour drive. We did it in a day and he was a champ!
We spent the week mainly relaxing and enjoying each other’s company. A major highlight was Patrick’s (my brother) proposal to his now fiancee, Megan! Other than this, we slept, read, ate, and played with the baby. This series of pictures is a departure from my usual play-by-play blog entry. Eat, sleep, play, repeat does not make for exciting reading. But, it sure was a precious time with family. It’s a trip that we will remember forever. Thanks, Mumsie and Grandaddy! Enjoy the pictures 🙂

Snoozing! A great way to spend a road trip!
